Radiosurgery

An American designed machine called an Elman Surgitron uses radiofrequency waves to quickly ablate and vaporise nearly all types of benign skin growths including tags, warts, solar keratoses, and verrucas. Suspicious moles or cancerous lesions can be biopsied and then either completely excised or vapourised with the Elman surgitron.

The benefits over standard surgery, electrolysis or cold burning with liquid nitrogen, are that the radio waves cause very little if any damage to the adjoining skin tissue.  Therefore most healing is rapid, painless and virtually scar free without the need for stitches on most occasions.  Hence this treatment is ideal for the face and neck.

The surgitron can also be used for the treatment of fine facial thread and spider veins as well as performing many types of surgical procedures including ingrown toenails (matrixectomy), and for easing the problem of snoring (submucosal radiowave palatoplasty).
