At the Vein and Skin Clinic we stock medical grade cosmeceuticals from asap and Teoxane
“Cosmeceutial”, derived from ‘cosmetic’ and ‘pharmaceutical’ was first introduced by Dr Albert Kligman (dermatologist) in 1984.
The Vein and Skin Clinic stock cosmeceuticals from Teoxane (an offshoot of Teosyal, a Swedish based brand – who we also use for cosmetic injectables) and asap (an Australian based brand). These trusted cosmeceutical brands are integral to the clinics Aesthetic services.
Great skin begins at home, with how we look after – nourish – our skin. As a medical clinic, we are lucky enough to have the ability to stock high, medical grade products which contain hyaluronic acid for hydration, peptides and vitamins for rejuvenation.
Come in and speak to our reception team, who are trained to recommend products. Or, book in for a compimentary consultation with a cosmetic nurse for the full package.
Our cosmeceuticals work hand in hand with the services our aesthetic clinic provides – stimulating collagen, assisting in hydration and prepping your skin to provide the maximum results.
Trust in experience – at the Vein and Skin Clinic.

AHA’s (alpha hydroxyl acids) help to refine superficial skin texture, increase skin hydration and increase dermal and epidermal thickness. AHA’s gently loosen dead skin cells without removing the skin’s moisture barrier. The result is fresher more youthful skin.
BHA’s (salicylic acid) have the ability to penetrate and clean out pores, as well as exfoliate skin surfaces. BHA’s are useful for acne prone skin. They also have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Helps reduce UV (Ultra-Violet) damage; may inhibit pollutant metabolism; acts as an anti inflammatory.
Vitamin C is needed to produce collagen in the skin. It also helps prevent free radical damage caused by UV exposure and environmental pollutants. Less pigmentation and a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles results.
Helps to reduce dark circles and puffiness in the eye area. Vitamin K is also known for its ability to aid wound healing.
Vitamin B (Niacinamide).
Vitamin B has been shown to stimulate collagen and new fibroblasts. It is also very effective in reducing skin dehydration and increasing skin hydration levels.
Vitamin A Derivatives.
Vitamin A helps to refine skin texture, making skin softer and smoother. It can improve physiological cell regeneration and reverse dermal damage caused by UV exposure. Vitamin A works as an anti inflammatory and increases cellular mitosis. It can assist in the reduction of blocked pores and pigmentation resulting in overall improvement of skin radiance.
Botanical properties of plants can be extracted to produce topical botanical skin products with a range of benefits. Benefits include anti-bacterial, antiseptic, astringent, anti-oxidant, anti-irritant, anti-allergenic, soothing, healing, clarifying and moisturising properties.
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the dermis and epidermis of the skin. It functions to hydrate the skin. When applied topically, hyaluronic acid enhances skin moisture and skin appearance.
