Moles are not always related to skin cancers. There are also benign moles which have been with you from birth, or have developed through constant exposure to harmful sun rays. We are very aware of the damage sun can do in New Zealand.
At the Vein and Skin Clinic we have different lasers to treat the pigmentation in moles or sun spots which lay flush on the skin. Check out our Pigmentation Rejuvenation Lasers in the V&S Aesthetics menu. For any raised mole or benign lesion we use the Ellman Surgitron which cuts the mole off utilising radio frequency energy. This is performed by our specialised doctors. Come in for a consultation to see whether this is right for you.
At the Vein and Skin Clinic we offer the ability to check for skin cancers and remove the lesion, raised (with the surgitron) or flush on the skin (with our medical grade lasers). It is a one stop shop.
The cost of this procedure varies according to the areas that require treatment and whether the area is treated alone or in conjunction with other areas. (This is most common).
