How the latest laser technology works
This special laser treatment uses Lumenis 1 (Nd YAG) or IPL (Intense Pulse Light) to destroy the veins rising to the surface of your face.
The laser heats up the vein walls, causing them to seal and close off. It may sound scary, but the procedure is very safe. The light is targeted to a very specific area (within a range of between 515 to 1200 nano metres) to target the red of the spider veins and does not affect the surrounding tissue.
The laser easily passes through the melanin barrier of the skin surface and doesn't interfere with pigment, enabling successful treatment of any skin type and at any time during the year.
